Our Process

We’re here to connect however works best for you, whether you prefer a phone call, FaceTime, email, text, or by filling out our puppy application. This first step is all about getting to know you and understanding your family’s lifestyle, needs, and hopes for a Pure North Samoyed.

Before proceeding, we'll provide a detailed adoption contract outlining both your responsibilities and ours. This important document helps ensure a clear understanding and protects the best interests of you, the puppy, and Pure North Samoyeds.

A written contract clarifies expectations, avoids misunderstandings, and reinforces a shared commitment to the puppy's lifelong wellbeing, and is a pledge of our commitment to providing you with a healthy high quality puppy. 

Now comes the exciting moment when you select your new member of your family. We’ll guide you in matching a puppy’s energy level, health, and temperament to your lifestyle. You'll get to meet the litter, observe each pup’s behavior—curiosity, sociability, confidence—and see how they interact with people and their environment. We can facilitate this in person or through FaceTime or other video platforms. We’ll also help you consider how the pup’s personality fits with your family, and ensure you feel confident about your choice. When you’ve found “the one,” we’ll complete the contract and schedule your puppy’s homecoming.

The final, most exciting step is bringing your puppy home! On this special day, you'll receive puppy food, a cozy blanket, a fun toy, your puppy’s health passport, microchip documentation, and full health records. We’ll also include your puppy’s current feeding and care schedule, and information.
